I had called and asked if this could be hung horizontally and the lady assured me it could, so I purchased it. It CANNOT be hung horizontally. The hangers are placed for vertical. So move them, you say? There is a "signature" where it should be, in the lower right corner, so if you did hang horizontally, it would look funny with the signature out of place. I've dealt with Wayfair for a lot of years and was always amazed at the service. Of course I had never returned anything as I had to do with this and was told I have to pay to return it or they would give me a few bucks to keep it. As it was over $100, and not the best piece of artwork, I paid the price and they tried to make me feel better by giving me a 10% off coupon which is available to EVERYONE. (Guess I wasn't supposed to notice) LOL! Not a terrible choice, but certainly better choices available.
