I ordered this pergola for my newly remodeled backyard, but due to construction delays, I wasn’t able to open and assemble it within the 30-day return window. Overall, the pergola looks great and feels like a quality product. We installed it with LED lights, and the result is beautiful. However, the instructions were lacking in several areas. I had to figure out some parts of the assembly on my own, especially when it came to installing the LED channels. A soft mallet was necessary to fit them properly—something not mentioned in the instructions. There was also no clear guidance on how to run the wires without risking damage to them. Despite these setbacks, I really love how the pergola turned out. The design is sleek, and I’m excited to start hosting gatherings under it.

I think It should have more height.

Wayfair blew away other sites in price and delivered it within days! Still need to unpack and assemble. Expecting a great product.

I purchased this large investment without having seen it - but hoping it would function and look as great as the photos show it to be. And I'm happy to report it absolutely does. Well built, easy to use, sizing to meet whatever patio you might need to place this. The lights are crisp and bright (they REALLY light up the area - I'll be adding a dimmer.). It is a two person install and you will need to be mindful of how you attach this down so it stays secure. It will be a game-changer in the hot summer days and a rain relief in the winter. [I will also note that the Purple Leaf customer service on this item was also five stars. A strip of LED lights was missing and they immediately reached out, confirmed what was missing and sent the replacement. They contacted me through text and email to insure satisfaction. Well done.]

It’s hard to tell if this pergola is as expected because it arrived missing parts and with damaged parts. We are awaiting replacement parts, so only after they arrive will I be able to say it’s as good as we hoped it will be. As I am being asked to write a report before April 26, this is the best I can report at this time.

Great quality

This pergola is great! My husband and I put it together in @ 4 hours. Direction were decent. Although our pergola came with a light kit. The light kit had seperate directions. We saved it for last. BUT the first picture in the 1st step showed putting the lighting on prior to assembly. I think we will still be OK getting the lighting attached, but I wish the main pergola instructions referenced doing the lights as the pergola is assembled. Other then that it seems sturdy and is nice looking. Louver system is pretty cool.

Overall, I am satisfied with the product. However, I left the protective cling on until I was done erecting the pergola to protect the finish and did not notice that two of the columns had damage from shipping. Except for the damage, I like the product. It is frustrating with how much you pay though. Instructions were sparse and you have to use a bit of deduction for some parts.
