Astor Row 63.00'' Sideboard

NOT AS WAYFAIR ADVERTISED! I only put 5 stars so it would be shown as they hide the 1 star reviews. I am so unsatisfied! I thought it was the color that was shown on the Wayfair website (gray and white) I have a table that is gray and white. My son passed away, so I did not open the box until after the return date expired, according to a Wayfair representative, when I called. I told her my child died! A second time, and she said she would ask the next person above her. After being on hold for 20 min, she hung up on me. I dont have the energy to deal with that again. I will not buy from Wayfair again. This was false advertising with the pictures Wayfair posted. You would not know it was brown unless you went to the reviews and saw the pictures. I AM SHOCKED THAT WAYFAIR WOULD POST FAKE PICTURES AND THAT A REPRESENTATIVE WOULD ACT THE WAY SHE DID. IT IS BROWN AND WHITE NOT GEAY AND WHITE.

Because of the poor alignment of the inner mechanism, the doors do not align properly. Instead of the doors fitting in parallel, there is a clear angle between the doors and each other, and the doors and the frame.

I purchased (2) of the Astor Row 63” wide sideboards to use as an entertainment console. I placed them side by side. I have genuine marble top coffee table, Nook table and matching server. It is an open concept area so I wanted to tie all of the rooms in by using these cabinets which are very sturdy, well built and quite heavy. I assembled them mostly myself but needed my husband to help put the top on. He went on to put the doors on as well. The process isn’t at all hard. Lay out all parts in order of their use. It is quite a beautiful and unique piece. Me being me, I drilled (20) additional holes at the bottom to change the legs to golden angular ones with a simple gold center leg. My legs are 7” that I added. I like to vacuum under everything with ease. I went on to drill holes to add 2” gold pull- rings. I chose 2” because that was the size of the golden pull rings on my desk in the Family Room. I loved the piece the way it was originally but my vision for it was to change the legs and and door pulls. I have the sideboards/consoles in front of a knee wall right now but they will be moved into their own Entertainments Alcove later today.

Do not recommend! The instructions are confusing. This product is not as described. Not only is putting this item together a nightmare. In the picture the marble is grey white. However, after putting the table together, I noticed the marble was brown cream not white grey. When I notified the manufacturer, they said it looks like the photo. Look at my attachment and you decide does brown cream marble look like grey white marble Anyways the only way to take get reimbursement is to break down this tumultuous table rebox it. Nightmare.. dont be like me find something else.

The doors are difficult to put on so they function dependably. There is no English text to help you in the guide. The corners of the cabinet are easy to chip. Also this item is not the same as in the product photo. In real life, the 4 doors are grey and the cabinet frames them in white. If you overexpose a photo, the difference cannot be seen. In the photo I post here, close to the flash it is overexposed and you don't see much of a difference. But away from the flash, in real life, the doors are grey marble and not white with marbling. In real life, the result is shocking to the eye. I give this 2 stars because, except for the doors, the main part of the cabinet goes together easy, and this has a middle leg for added strength.

Not white. Ordered to match my dining room floor. Didn’t come with manual to put together… have to wait to receive one. Not happy with Wayfair.

Nice storage space and great addition to my kitchen.
