This rug is stunning, has no weird smell, is true to coloring in the picture (maybe slightly less saturated yellow/cream color than what is shown in the photo, very close. It also has a great LIGHT color combo that doesn't show alot of dirt and I think that's really difficult for a deco patterned, light colored rug. I am VERY particular about rugs and their off-gassing and this one had no smell, is incredibly high quality, and has held together beautifully for a year now. No weird fibers after vacuuming, no tuft releasing from pets or feet walking across it, no fraying. It's excellent quality, has as substantial backing, and doesn't lift up at the corners or sides to cause you to trip, it's heavy enough where it will not do that, but light enough where you can pick it up to vacuum or sweep or move from place to place. 5 stars

Beautiful rug but it arrived with a small black stain.

With the help of one of allmodern’s design expert, Salma, we feel that we found the perfect rug for our living room and its mid century modern-ish furniture. The pile is tight but soft, with basic padding underneath. The background is cream-colored, not yellow, like the ad photo suggested. We are enjoying it every day.
