I'm glad this rug turned out like it did, because the stock photos seemed to be inconsistent with customer photos, but I think the look depends more on the size you get. Size-wise, it is about 1 inch wider and 2.5 inches longer than what I ordered (6x9), which I'm happy with, and the tassels add 8 inches to each end, like it said, so make sure you count that in your measurements. It lays almost completely flat when opened and has reasonable smell for being jute/wool. The color is a nice off white and true forest green. I docked a star because the materials are very scratchy/slivery when you first roll it out (to the point that it feels cheap), I was able to get most of the slivers up with a quick vacuuming, but the vacuum, even on a gentle setting, caused some of the braiding to come loose. I have a newer Dyson, so I don't think it was the vacuums fault. I would not recommend this for a living room. Also, it says this is like, a $500 rug. I got it for just over $200 and by the time I received it it was about $70 cheaper. The pricing is very inconsistent, which I don't like. I asked customer service if they could price match (it arrived yesterday after a week delay due to snow), which they said no, and there is a fee for exchanges. It makes it a customer beware situation, which isn't ideal for buying online. Overall, I am fairly happy at $200.

Love this rug. I only deducted a star because I’m not overly fond of the tassels on one side they’re a little ratty looking. The color isn’t too green and adds a pop of color to my living room. Noe to find some wall art

The fringes on the rugs I bought don't look like one in this picture. I like design and color, though. The feel of it isn't as robust as I thought it would be either.

I was a bit wary to order this given some of the reviews, but at least for the 8x10 this is the perfect rug for what I needed. It's beautiful, sturdy, and exactly as pictured. I love it.

Love it! Just what I was looking for. The texture is more of a jute rug feel, but overall it's exactly what the pictures looked like.

Looks large and beautiful, smells a bit out of the packaging but soft underfoot and easy to clean!

Not like photo in ad. Don't like it at all. Can't vacuum over tassels. Very disappointed. Threw away all wrapping and paperwork upon receipt. I have 3 rugs from previous purchase. I will just have to live with it until I can find something that I like better.
