I love them! They took a couple more weeks to arrive than what it said, but I am so happy with them. These are definitely light filtering but i like the look either way. They move up and down easily. I did have someone else install them so i don’t know if it was easy or not but he seemed to do it pretty fast. Compared to other blind stores online, i think these are definitely worth the money. Incredibly easy to install. I installed both shades myself in about 45 minutes. That’s with me hitting a snag (brick wall rather) on one and having to patch and reposition the holes to put the screws into the wood frame. These shades serve 2 purposes for me. The first being that on a day to day basis they act as a valance for the window. The second is that opposite of these windows is our living room tv. The anti-glare properties of the tv screen are no match for the early to midday sun pouring through the windows. Even wit the blinds closed there’s a good amount of glare. So, when we’re wanting to watch tv during the day, they can be drawn down so that we eliminate the glare on the TV. I like the color and the texturepattern. I got the light gray.
