Broan NuTone Universal Range Hood Damper

this is for make-up air usage, it's working fine

Unit worked exactly like it was supposed to when the exhaust fan turns on the dampner opens up and allows fresh air into the house

Product was what I ordered and cost less than on other sites. The part number on Wayfair is different than on other websites (e.g. in BRN-MD6TU-R compared with MD6TU on the Broan website) which made me question if this was in fact the same product but when it arrived it was just what I wanted.

Didn’t end up needing-the vent already had one. But I guess you can use this to help with noise or extra ventilation if needed.

Works as expected. Opens damper even on lowest setting of fan. Installation requires some proficiency in home renovations i.e. cutting hole in wall for return air and wiring for electrical. Although documentation states works with Broan range hood, we installed with other brand name and had no problems.

Works as it should.
