EdgeStar Single Zone 15'' Built-In 30 Bottle Wine Refrigerator with Reversible Door

Love this fridge! Keeps everything cold & doesn’t make a lot of noise!

We have a cubby in our kitchen that screams wine fridge. We had one previously, however it was not a built in and within 2 years it could no longer keep wines cold. This built-in wine fridge has just the right dimensions (I did a lot of searching) and was very affordable. So far after just a couple of weeks I’m pleased. It is light-weight, but feels sturdier than the old fridge. The metal racks are much better than having the bamboo. It looks great and love the blue glow.

I researched wine coolers and beverage refrigerators for several weeks prior to Labor Day, hoping for a sale. I wanted to replace another brandname 30 bottle built in wine cooler I bought in 2005 and dearly missed it after I sold my Condo in 2020. Unfortunately for me, the cooler went to the buyer. I looked online for the same cooler and discovered it had tripled in price since 2005 and was no longer was affordable. Trying to locate a repair free cooler again was daunting but I think I found one that will give me future peace of mind. I read all the Wayfair reviews (plus many from other websites) and I am happy to say I may have struck gold. The Echostar wine cooler was packed in two boxes for added protection and it arrived 2 1/2 days after I placed my order online. Shocker! Although I was concerned I wasn’t going to be able to add some Craft beer cans at the bottom, the lower shelves angled out beautifully and were easy to remove. (That was why I considered getting the Echostar beverage refrigerator instead for $10 less. ) Irregardless, I was impressed that I can store sparkling wine, red and white wine plus some canned and bottled beer for guests without a hassle. The temperature factory setting was at 40 degreesF which I raised to 50degrees just to avoid any preventative defrosting or condensation issues. I figured I could always lower the temperature on an as needed basis when visitors arrive. So yes, I am very pleased with my purchase even if the Echostar was not on sale. Echostar’s parent company also makes two other brands of wine coolers which also have good reliability and performance reviews. That added to my decision making process. Eventually, I may add a new granite top and end panels to complete the built in look but for now, I am satisfied with the cosmetic looks. The fridge is quiet and I never hear the compressor kick on. The blue interior light illuminates when I open the door which I prefer but can be set to stay on if desired. The blue light softly fills my dining room at night like a nite light which is fine and doesn’t disturb me at all. I hope to have many trouble years with my Echostar wine cooler. Wayfair has treated me well in the past with my other expensive purchases and I trust in the company’s customer service department to stand by their products. Keep Shopping Wayfair everyone!

They (I needed 2) are the perfect size for a built in situation. This is my second set, 1st 2 lasted about 7 years. Good product.

So far this Refridgerator is working really well. It’s very quiet.

Bought to replace a 6 year old EdgeStar Dual Zone that stopped cooling and would have cost a lot to repair. The only reason we went with this model was because we had no more than 32 inches in height to work with and all others were 34 inches in height. We've only had it a few days. It's working properly but the lowest temp it can be set at is 40F and the actual temp it maintains is 42F when it is set at 40F. Hopefully this will last longer than the previous but I don't have a lot of faith. Time will tell. I like very much that the handle is integrated into the door unlike the protruding handle on the model that we replaced. I also like the all black. It's sleek. This model is extremely quiet. And I also like the blue light that comes on when the door is opened or can be set to stay on even when the door is closed.

Great space saving refrigerator, quiet and efficient

Refrigerator is working great so far. After letting it sit upright for 24 hours to let the coolant settle, then plugging it in, it was a still a little noisy for 2 or 3 days. Now I don’t notice at all when it cycles off and on. It was a struggle to get more than 22-24 bottles in. They would all need to be slim and cylindrical, no wide or oddly shaped bottles to get 26 in. But it is serving my purposes for a decent price.
