What's Included?
- LP Gas Conversion Kit
Features
- Start cooking faster with power boil: 18,000 BTU power boil burner delivers intense heat for faster boiling.
- Spend less time cleaning up: Sealed cooktop burners contain spills and make cleaning quick and easy.
- MAX burner system: Delivers the same maximum BTU power to propane and natural gas cooktops.
- Maximize your cooking space: Continuous cast iron grates provide more room for large cookware.
- More cooking, less cookware: Eliminate the need for extra cookware with an optional integrated griddle perfect for pancakes, grilled cheeses, and other favorites.
- Precise simmer burner: Protect delicate foods with low, even heating.
- White LED backlit heavy-duty knobs: Durable knobs are back-lit for a sleek appearance when burners are on.
- Fit guarantee: Replacing a similar cooktop from GE appliances or another brand? GE cooktops are guaranteed for an exact fit or GE appliances will pay up to $100 toward modifications.
- Walk the delivery path: Measure doorways, hallways, stairways, and areas where there may be a tight fit to ensure your appliance will fit.
- Additional considerations: Keep in mind that your new cooktop will have a lip that will overlap the cutout by ½-1 inch. You should also subtract any space needed for gas lines, ventilation, or other manufacturer requirements beneath the cooktop. Your cooktop should also be 24 to 36 inches from any hood or cabinets above it.
- Measure the cutout space: Remove your existing cooktop and measure the cutout opening. Measure the cutout width from side to side, depth from front to back, and distance between the cutout and both the back wall and the front of the countertop.
- Check if your cooktop requires gas or electricity. Depending on the model, electric cooktops require a 30, 40, or 50-amp circuit.
- Dishwasher-safe grates: Heavy-duty grates are easy to clean in the dishwasher.
