So glad this exists. Our new house is an open floor plan and doesn't have a range hood and it will be a year before we do a kitchen remodel so this will work in the meantime. I stopped making certain dishes because I was worried about the smell and such. While not a built in fan it is better than nothing!

Works very well! I do not have a vent system in my kitchen and this does the job well and no smoke alarm!

amazing fan , great value

This was the perfect addition to our kitchen. We live in an older home that had no vent for the kitchen. This sits perfectly on the stove top and pulls the steam, smoke and odors into it. It isn't loud and is a nice looking appliance to leave out.

Came fully assembled and ready to plug-in. Draws in smoke very quickly and dissipates it.  it is large and can be stored in a cabinet between uses. The black goes very nicely with my black appliances.

Entirely impressed with this “range hood” which is really like a little air purifier that combats the most bothersome smells. My husband urged me to get it because I’m very sensitive to cooking smells and I also have a fish-inclusive diet, which he dislikes. We tried it on a cod fillet in a stovetop pan and the house smelled faintly afterward, but there was so little smell smoke compared to usual that it didn’t linger. Prior to this I used a massive air purifier that barely did the job. Without an actual range hood, this suffices. We didn’t even need to turn on the microwave fan.
