We bought this 6 months ago after fairly extensive research. I find it okay but my wife does most of the cooking and all the baking and is not thrilled with it. Before buying, I summarized the review comments as shown below, in order from most to least prevalent. I'm including them here along with our own thoughts: - stove top scratches very easily just from sliding a pot or pan on it and/or impossible to clean Us: True, but we've been careful to not slide pots so we don't have a lot of scratches. Still, the top already doesn't look very nice and will only get worse. Some stains can be scraped or cleaned off while others appear to be permanent. - flimsy bottom drawer and requires 2 hands to open Us: Flimsy and doesn't hold much but it can easily be opened with one hand. - numbers wore off stove dials or are hard to see Us: We don't find this to be a problem. - wimpy air fryer, or just doesn't work as it should (but see next item) + air fryer is great Us: There were mixed reviews on this. We haven't used it that much but it doesn't seem to work all that well. There is very little difference noticed between the air-fry and regular convection modes. Also, most recipes are for stand-alone air fryers so we don't see the results that the recipe shows. - don't like oven control touch panel Us: It seems fine to us. - Need to use + and - buttons to change oven temperature (instead of entering numbers?) Us: Not true for this model.. You can punch numbers. Maybe I recorded this incorrectly. - oven temperatures don't match what's been set Us: Baking seems to be taking a few minutes longer than expected but roasting seems to be taking the expected amount of time. It's odd because I think both of those use the same elements. - "As others have noted, can only use 1-3 on the burners, or food burns quickly. There is no simmer setting, food cooks rapidly at lowest setting." (several reviewers said some variation of this) Us: My wife has complained about this to some extent. See more details on element power below. - oven is slow to preheat Us: This is true, and is definitely slower than our previous 22-year-old range despite having a higher watt rating. It's strange, but we just have to remember to put the oven on 10-15 minutes before it's needed. - timer is annoying Us: This wasn't mentioned in previous reviews but we find the timer annoying. It plays a loud tune for seven seconds, pauses for 7 seconds and repeats that cycle forever until it's manually shut off. When we first noticed the inconsistent heating of the elements, I ran a few hours of experiments (yeah, too much time on my hands) to try to determine the power output of each element at each setting. Purchased September of 2021, within 6 months the glass cook top surface developed white discoloration on the burner areas. It appears that what ever the top is coated with is defective, after reading other reviews about the same issue. In 2022 I replaced the glass cook top. Thinking it may be the cookware that was causing the problem, I replaced them as well. Again, after about 6 months the same problem developed. Seeing that this may not be an isolated problem with me I feel that the LG design and engineering department needs to be aware and make changes, there is a definite problem with the cook top glass. This problem detracts from the overall product which is basically good with the exception of the glass. Please advise if you have a solution. Thank you. SL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this range for our new home and had been used to gas appliances in our previous home. This electric range is better and we love it.

I love all the features this stove has. The only downside is the glass cook top. I can't seem to get it as clean and polished. I dont like the rubber at the end of the glass and the grid like geature of the glass. I use Ceramabryte and Weinman stove cleaner. It does not take off the stains. I feel it takes too longer to get it clean. I have some stains that can't be removed. I should not have to spend so much time cleaning a smooth top stove. I also hate the big piece of rubber on the edges. It makes it look cheap. I feel that with time and from seeing all the complaints that eventually the smooth top will look bad. The pictures ai posted was after cleaning it with soap and water, Ceramabryte, scraping it with the blade handle Ceramabryte has included with the solution and polishing after removing the Ceramabryte with a dry cloth.

I have Range model LREL 6325, Serial # 008MMNTOE007.Control panel was regularly cleaned after every cooking and finally after five years black marks around the knobs are erased and disappear. So, now is not possible to properly adjust a heat on each element. I can not see any way to repair this mistake so, I am asking you to send me a new stainless steel panel. I could not attached a photos because is tricky. Thank you Brian

This range was installed mid-March and by mid-April I can already tell that the quality is less than ideal. While the range seems to work well, the cooktop portion is not worth the money we paid. We have been very gentle with the top and it is already stained and looks terrible. We don’t make a mess when cooking and have been very careful to clean anything that gets on it (even water), but the burner covers have ugly spots, the burners and cooktop look like they have stains or rust spots, and the grates are rusty where the holes are. The grates are also scratching/gauging the stainless-steel cooktop, even though they are put in place very gently. This is very disappointing as a range is a purchase that you will have for years. If it already is showing signs of wear from very light use in one month, I can’t even imagine how horrible it will look in five years. I am almost scared to use it for fear of more permanent stains and scratches. The other disappointing issue is that the cover over the exhaust area at the back of the stove cannot be removed to clean under it. So, if you have a stray crumb or such, it cannot be cleaned up. The first few times we used the oven portion it set off our smoke alarms even though nothing was baking at the time. This morning, a month later, it made them chirp two times. Be prepared to deal with a horrible plastic smell from the oven during the first few weeks. And if your smoke detectors are sensitive to particulates, it will probably set them off. It was also disappointing that the range only came with 2 oven racks. For the price it is odd. I will say that my favorite feature is the knock-on door to turn on the oven light. We had high hopes for the range, but are starting to regret not heeding the other reviews which mentioned the cooktop and grates easily staining.

The racks fall out consistently. And anything of any weight falls easier and sooner. Am sorry we purchased this product! Not sure how long we can keep it!

I just bought this oven and I am super excited to use it my old oven never worked well from the day I brought it home. I saved up and purchased this oven because it has every feature I wanted and use. One surprise was that you can knock 2 times on the door and the oven light turns on so you don’t loose heat when checking the food for doneness. How awesome is that!

Bought mine sometime in June 2021. It worked fine for 2+ years. Sometime October 2023 one of the burners started to get stuck on high heat. It is fixed after replacing the rotary switch. In January 2025 one of the surface elements is broken. Unfortunately, having two failures less than four years cannot be described as quality. The part costs almost 1/3 of the oven price. I am considering to replace it with a different brand.
