October 2021 - Used with enamelled cast iron pan (probably not recommended) for a brunch and it worked very well. Just need to get used to icons!!! Dec 2020 - UPDATE: Still have not moved in so have not been using unit. Contractor did a little work a short while back and when I checked on the unit, the large burner did not heat up. Contractor determined mother board was bad. Manufacturer Summit warranty begins at date of purchase; mine was installed 10 months later; of course, October 2020 is WAYYY outside warranty, and Summit will not address or repair, even if I return it to them. I understand, but this is lousy customer service. I will pursue, but if you don't install immediately upon purchase, beware. Very disappointed. FOLLOW UP: Finally got this little unit installed and it is great! This is going to complement my antique wood and gas stove in my new kitchen, as I normally don't cook on gas. Thanks!

Its what I was expecting really good. I have been using it for the 4 to 5 years, havent have any complaint yet.

Does not heat up well. Do not buy

Not only is this stovetop a safety hazard, it takes double the time to cook anything because it has a mind of its own. While you're cooking it constantly turns off, we've tried keeping the pots as far away from the controls as possible thinking it was possibly due to the heat, we've tried covering the controls thinking possibly they were getting wet or dirty and nothing works. It turns itself on when nobody has even been near it in 2 hours. I highly recommend nobody ever purchases this stovetop, it was a big waste of money as we are now having to purchase a new one.

I found a more powerful one with one burner 1800 , and one 1200. It works better for me. I am returning this one.
