Great gate, all-metal construction, screwed into the studs for maximum safety. I've had two of them for more than a year, and it still works as well and looks as good as the day I installed it. I can't imagine using any other gate at the top of the stairs for my crazy toddler.

Worked perfectly for our top of stairs gates. Wall to wood and wood to wood staircases both worked well.

The latch has started sticking after a couple weeks of use, though I think I can fix it by readjusting the width. Before it started sticking, I liked the one-handed opening mechanism. The most important thing, though, is safety, and it’s very solidly built. I feel confident that it would prevent a kid from falling down the stairs.
