The bookcase is nice, but I wish I had paid closer attention to the reviews because as others have stated, this is NOT 6 shelves but 5. The 2 stars is also based on the fact I reached out to Wayfair resolution support about the issue and they failed to respond or make it right. UPDATE: A few days later Wayfair resolution services reached out to me and apologized for the error. They offered a 25% discount on the bookcase since the wrong one was sent. I appreciate this and so updated my rating. Hopefully they’ll fix the listing so more people don’t get a surprise when the bookshelf arrives.

I really like the product, but am disappointed in the customer service of KidKraft. One part of the bookshelf was either tightened too much by us or had a weaker section and the screws could be felt through the top. I tried to access KidKraft website for a replacement, but it was sold out and the options to order were not for the US. Then I messaged KidKraft asking for help and all they did was direct me to the same website. So I just kept this with a defect. 

Exactly as pictured. So easy to assemble. It only took me 30 minutes.

I didnt receive the one in the picture and what the description said online. Instead of getting 6 total cubby spaces, I got 5. I like it. I just wish I would have gotten the 6 cubby one. They gave me a 15 discount on it if I kept it so I just did that. Its not worth sending back. Ill just make it work.

Photos and descriptions are just incorrect - has five shelves/sections, not six. Assembly is quick but lacks key details that would have prevented damage (e.g., do not over tighten hinged bolts or they will leave a shattered starburst pattern on the top surface in four spots). Also, screw/bolt heads are recessed on the bottom but stick out on the top and sides. Not going to return since this is already assembled, but definitely disappointing.

This is perfect! It is a little smaller than I had expected, but my daughter is a very petite 8 year old so it fits perfect for her and it wasn’t too hard to put together.
