I ordered my mattress on 05/26/25 and received it on 5/30/25 very quickly. Removed it from the box and it is very heavy, so you need two people. After removing and placing it on the bed on correct side for summer, I cut the plastic off which was wrapped very securely around the mattress because it was vacuum sealed and once it started inflating it was very fast and inflated to its original height of 14", I never had a bed in a box inflate that quickly, but I still waited until 72 hours before I slept on the mattress just to be sure, then covered the mattress with a mattress protector and that evening I slept on it for the first time. Now I know it takes a while to get use to sleeping on a new mattress and yes it did feel kind of hard at first(it's medium) but now my body is adjusting to the mattress, and it's been since 06/02/25 (4days) and it's very comfortable, relaxing, I have been able to sleep very well since I got this mattress because I have gone through at least 5 mattress this year already until I found the one that was right for me and I think I finally have accomplished that so I know it's still early but I have faith. I also have my mattress on an adjustable base which will also help, and I made sure that this mattress was compatible before I purchased it. So far, it's sturdy around the edges of the bed, made very well on both sides of the mattress so I will be able to rotate it summer/winter, and the two colors indicate that. The middle of the mattress so far has no sinkage which is important to me, I haven't had any back or neck aches thus far and I will continue to monitor after I had the mattress for 6months and I will update if there are any changes but for now I can say this mattress is a good one(for me) and it is soft because of the cashmere wool foam on top of the mattress also bamboo charcoal adsorption. So, if you are looking for a good mattress with all of the above features, I mentioned this would be the idea mattress and yes, I would recommend it to my family and friends. I gave this mattress 5 stars because it is very well put together like a mattress should be and also it has handles on each side of the mattress which makes it easy to move, rotate, lift when needed. There aren't a lot of mattresses that come with handles and makes it difficult to move or rotate. Alwyn Home 14" mattress is made of good quality.
