I was under the impression it was supposed to be 14 but it never got passed 12.

Haven't slept in it yet. I am.allowing the full time suggested for it to rise. It is crazy how quick it starts to rise. I had to.open it in my basement because of the room needed for it to sit and rise. As others have said, once you cut the final plastic off it lets goes fast and with force. I have sat on it and it feels just as described comfy but firm. I'll update after I have had time to sleep on it. The picture is after only about 12 hours.
