When first opened, the sheets did not feel soft. However, I washed them and included baking soda and a vinegar rinse, which is recommended for softening flannel, and it worked! They are pretty and comfortable and fit our deep mattress. Only one star off because there was a flaw in the weave in the top sheet that ran top to bottom, but it didn’t affect comfort so I decided to keep.
