5 Inch Metal Box Spring, Bed Frame Low Profile, Basic Mattress Foundation, Easy Assembly

My daughter has been wanting a low profile bed for sometime now, I scored this. It was very easy to put together and her special needs dog is able to get onto her bed now. This is very sturdy and will not bend.

Pardon the staged photo with an air mattress but I am waiting on the real mattress to arrive! This box frame is the perfect size for the space I had in mind. It came nicely packaged and in good condition. The piece is versatile so can be used exposed or used more like a box spring. Personally I think leaving it open gives a nice modern look! I think this frame is perfect for a toddler’schildren’s room (as it is very low elevation and probably safe for falls) or like, in our case, plugged into a random space where we are trying to maximize sleeping space. Very happy with this purchase. Doesn’t come with a fabric cover just FYI!

Bought this just for an added frame for my kids so that it was low to the ground so they were training to be in a big boy bed but I think it can be used for many purposes and it's sturdy and made well and easy to put together

Frame as stated. Directions were clear. A bit disappointed that it is so low to the ground though. Its sturdy, and made well. Perfect for a small bedroom, or as an add on to a larger area. Theres not enough room to store anything underneath, but overall a nice frame.

Overall, great look! Easy to assemble; maybe 20minutes. Arrived with damaged packaging but all pieces were fine. It doesn't have parts to attach to headboards or walls and I haven't been able to sleep well yet; I think it's just an adjustment period though. I like the height it gives our bed.

Read carefully. Five inches. That barely gets you off the floor. I think I was looking at the picture and it set my expectations “bigger” That’s on me. The item is exactly as described and has been fairly sturdy thus far.

I was in dire need of a bed frame after my platform bed broke. This frame is low to the ground, about five inches. It feels good to be off the floor. I like that I will be able to use this metal frame with a new headboard and footboard. The metal is very strong and sturdy. I am able to store slippers and shoes under the frame.

This low profile foundation bed frame was perfect for lowering my bed to a more comfortable height. Assembly was straightforward and took me about 20–25 minutes. Once I placed the mattress on top, it felt sturdy and secure. Overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out—it does exactly what I needed it to do.

I am a little disappointed as I didn’t realize frame sit directly in the floor. I would prefer some legs. Frame wasn’t too hard to assembly. Some of the slats do not fit in, so I had to unattached the corner pieces to slide them in properly.

I am so used to the traditional box spring but was intrigued when I needed to replace one that these "assemble yourself" type of foundation is all I could find online. Truth be said, I was skeptical but hopeful and now a bit impressed. Assembling with the tools that are included was not the easiest and, as usual the instructions were lacking. I ended up setting the corners incorrectly so I had to redo most of it. The end product seems pretty sturdy and works well with the hybrid mattress. It is personal preference, I would like prefer a box spring that makes the mattress feel softer but the product works well as a foundation.
