Bought a low profile box spring and a cheaper mattress from a local furniture store for a guest room. When it was delivered the mattress/box spring was about 4 inches below the headboard. It looked ridiculous. I checked Wayfair and several stores on line. Wayfair had what I needed and the best price. I'm very happy with my purchase.
