I do like the looks of this container. The top is just lose though so just sits on top.

The wood top doesn’t fit well very loose .come off when you get a tissue.

Looks great, which is what I wanted but I had to make some modifications to improve its functionality. The wooden top is very lightweight and simply rests on top of the cardboard tissue box inside. Every time I pulled out a tissue, the wood top came up with it. To hold the top in place, I used Velcro tabs and secured it to the cardboard tissue box inside. This solved the problem. I will continue to reuse the cardboard tissue box when I refill the metal box. The metal box comes with very thin rubber pads on bottom at each corner. Because I am using the metal tissue box on a bathroom counter, I felt the thin rubber pads wouldn’t keep the metal from getting wet and possibly leaving a rust stain on my counter. I purchased adhesive rubber tabs to keep the metal base off the counter and away from any surface water.

Looks great, but really weird design, the wood top is a separate piece and just sits on top of the tissue box, attached to nothing. Every time you pull a tissue out the top come off with it.

We love Yamazaki design. So simple and modern.
