It’s silky but has just enough weight that it doesn’t slide around which I was worried about because it’s me, my husband and the beagle and in the morning the comforter is still on top of the bed and it feels so good nestled across your body and you will sleep so good!!! So soft to the touch, it’s the best really, just do it, I highly recommend. I wish it was just a little poofier just because of the look of it, the comfort is perfect and I would not change a thing, I’m ssooo happy with it, oh and it’s larger than a standard queen so your not fighting over covers!!!.
