We have desks that back up to a wall so the echo of keyboard typing and voices across the room was loud. These really helped to absorbed the sound from traveling across the room and within the cubical space. They are not heavy and the gray color matched the cubical walls perfectly. The small slip with the instructions could use some improvement but once we figured it out they were easy to install.
