Well made. Know that these are extremely weighty/heavy, so put in a safe place and not somewhere where they can topple or be bumped as they could definitely do some serious damage to pets or a child. Great conversation piece as well…try to see if your guests can figure out what’s unique about the hands! lol! They are both left hands! Doesn’t bother me that they are, nor does it take away from the sculpture’s functionality as a bookend. I enjoy the piece. Would recommend for responsible, attentive, conscientious adults only due to its weight which is about 40lbs.

Great weight, beautiful bookends. Would have given five stars except both are left hands. Didn’t notice it on line and honestly, I think I’m the only one that noticed because I put them up. I still love them and would definitely buy again!

Very cool bookends. Heavy, well made. One came broken but I was quickly sent a replacement. Love these on my bookshelf.
