Lacy Metal Wall Clock

The Howard Miller "Lacy" clock is a very nice clock. It is important to note that the images on the Website suggest it is nearly black. However, it is more grey in reality. I have it mounted on a stone chimney in our great room and while it looks stunning, the lack of contrast against the rock makes it a little bit difficult to read. I will probably add some lighting tricks to enhance the contrast. This is a fairly heavy clock at 10 pounds, so when I mounted it, I drilled through the mortar and hit the stud behind it and used a 4" GRK construction screw to insure it stays put. It has a great open metal mount that can handle any size screw.

I do like the way the clock looks. We had issues with the hands which seem very flimsy for a clock at this price. The small hand kept getting stuck on the bars on its way around and we kept having to play with them to get them workable. It's not as heavy as I expected, but we are keeping it and giving it a try. We've had it up for about a week and it does look good where it is.

The clock arrived sooner than expected and in perfect condition. It looks beautiful in our newly remodeled basement.

The clock did not work and had flimsy hands that would not keep time. Very disappointed for the price point I paid. Would not recommend this item.

I love the look of this clock a lot but unfortunately, it stopped working shortly after I got it.
