The painting is beautiful. I wanted a painting that was calming and this is it. The description says it has a gold frame. It has a wood frame that has a golden hue. We hung it up using our own wall anchors. It comes with some that I have never used before so it was going to be a hassle to try and level it with those. We have placed it over our king size bed. It's color variation can work with many wall colors. Ours is light gray and it complements it.

Love it. Colors are subtle and work well with my home. Frame is not really gold. It is an imitation wood. Unfortunately I need to return this piece because the frame is damaged.
