I did the same to this window over my sink. Using the swag and valance together helps create a larger more open look to the window. The swag by itself seemed to close in on the window and make it look smaller than what it is.

Very cute. A little more sheer than I wanted but I like the style so I'm keeping them. Can see the stripes better with the blinds closed.

I have made a number of purchases and a large one (traditional fireplace) and have been pleased. I purchased valances 2 years ago and passed onto a friend who needed another one… I was very pleased to fine I could get another match… 2 years later! Thank you Wayfair

The valance is even better than I expected. Fits great at our kitchen window and really looks nice!

On the sheer side. Works for what i wanted. Will not keep light out. Colors are washed out
