The insert was of good quality. It was used it for a pillow cover that was 18" X 11" finished. It resulted in a firm pillow, corner to corner, with no distortion. Exactly the profile I wanted. For a softer pillow that will chop, plan a finish size of approx. 19" X 12".

The pillow is the correct size, well constructed and arrived as indicated when I ordered it. I neglected to research the filler and was surprised at the duck down, but it is used for decoration and not for sleeping, so I will keep it.

This pillow isn't pretty flat. I ordered it in dimensions 2" smaller than the pillow cover and it still looks flat. Not impressed.
