Blackout Cellular Shade

We needed a shade for our garage as we have a large window and it gets very hot inside the garage from the sun. This shade is working well for us. I like that it's a medium gray on the inside of the garage so it doesn't show dirt too easily and a nice bright white on the side seen from the outside. The only minor problem is that the right side of the shade doesn't quite close all the way at the top and there is a slight gap where the shade meets the header. Because of that I rated this 4 rather than 5 stars.

We really love this shade. Were remodeling our living room and I thought these would be a great addition. They are very lightweight. I was surprised. But seem well made. Material is good quality. It takes little effort to pull the shadeblind down. Our only concern is the center (the blind) which is usually plastic and u can peek through, or adjust the blind to how much sun light u want in or out. This one is solid. But very thin like paper. So it could rip easy. But we hope not. Bc we really like it. I would recommend this blindshade. Thanks WayFair as always from a Happy Customer

Got this for our front window which had been uncovered for longer than I care to admit. Extremely easy to install was up in less than 30 mins using inside mount included instructions. Opening from top and bottom both work. Only reason I’m docking a star is the color is not white. One side is Really lovely vase. The design is wonderful - feels sculptural and modern but still somewhat classic. Tall and wide enough to hold a standard store bouquet without cutting down stems. I had actually already cut these flowers a few inches to fit in something else, which is always a pain. Happy to have this now! and the other is gray, plus the frame is gray. Luckily that’s ok for us but it wasn’t clear from the listing or pics. I’d also say this might not be the best choice if you want to change the position of the blinds a lot. It works for sure but it doesn’t seem like it would hold up to a lot of daily manipulation. Still very good though and easy install is a real perk.

On the plus side, easy installation and it works well. Downside: the shade fabric is gray, not white. Ditto the head rail. Since my room is gray and white, that’s okay, but the description is flat out wrong. Also, it’s pretty much all plastic, but maybe that’s the way they all are? It has to be light to go easily up and down. Also, so many window treatments use the work blackout in the description, when they are clearly NOT blackout! Why?

They are ok. They are very thin and the pleads too, but do the job.

Turned out great, easy to install and totally blacks out the sun. I installed outer and it only took about 10 mins.

Was sent a different shade that needed to be installed from the top of the window. Also, the plastic parts are gray, not white. Will be returning.
