Blackout Cellular Shade

These are perfect! The measurements fit nice and snug not leaving a big gap for the light to filter by on the sides. These worked so well at blocking out the light I may have slept in the first day they were up thinking it was still night, oops.

Obsessed with this shade. Feel like it dropped the temperature of my west facing room immediately. Crazy easy to install. Just 4 screws and 2 clips to secure. I just tried to space them equally at the front edge of the window edge, didn’t measure or anything and it’s all good. Slides up and down very nicely. Worth the investment for light and temperature control!

We ordered this for my teenage son's bedroom window so he can sleep in. The shade was extremely easy to install. It's two brackets that have a spring loaded front, just screw them into the top of the window and then press the shade against the brackets and it pops in. Just as easy to remove if necessary but feels secure. However, because this is just a pull down shade it can be pulled unevenly and hang wonky. Also both the clear plastic handles broke trying to install, but you can simply pull the bottom of the shade so it doesn't affect use. I probably wouldn't install this in a visible/public area of the home just because they don't look high end (you can see the bracket between the frame and the shade, plastic ribbed top, cheap clear handles), but for a bedroom where you need black out go for it.
