First, let me say that I love the actual print. The colors are bright and look exactly like the picture, and it was exactly what I was looking for. However, the "frame", if it could be called that, is absolute garbage. It arrived with cracks in several places and was outright broken on one side. It appears to be nothing more than compressed cardboard wrapped in very thin plastic-coated paper that looks like woodgrain but is easily torn. This paper was already peeling off on the corners. This wasn't the worst part though. The real trouble came when trying to hang it. You are provided with typical metal brackets to screw on to the back of the frame, and then you hammer small plastic pieces into the wall that have a lip at the top that you slide the hangers onto. In theory it sounds ingenious. In practice, it was a disaster. Not only would the plastic pieces pull right out of the wall the minute you try to hang the picture on them, but the metal brackets would then just pop right out of the back of the frame, screws and all. The frame material isn't strong enough to even allow the screws to tighten, much less hold up to any pressure needed to slip onto the hangers. It's as if the frame material just turned to dust with any pressure. I have never been so frustrated and disappointed in a product, especially having paid $150 for it. The very worst part is that my freshly painted wall is now completely destroyed from the pieces ripping out of the wall, so we had no choice but to patch the back of the frame with wood glue, move all the brackets to new spots, and then put up regular nails in the walls to go ahead a hang the picture to cover the wall damage until we can decide what to do, since we were having visitors that weekend. Stay away from this product!
