Really love this. The 8 felt stickers to help the bookends from sliding were thrown in the box not taped to anything so it’s easy to miss. I had to look inside the box under the box flaps. I put 20 kids books between them and no skidding. The quality of the wood and metal pipe are great. The wood is darker than expected but it adds a nice contrast to my light colored desktop. Each bookend weighs about 2-3 pounds. Looks just like the picture

These bookends are fantastic! Non skid, holds a great number of books, constructed well, and they look beautiful

It does what it is supposed to do. Like in the other reveiws the wood is nice and thick but definitely not near as dark as picture shows. It holds heavy books to some extent but there is a small bit of skid depending on how smooth the surface you put them on where the books will be held. I was thinking there would be some type of nonskid material on the bottoms. The pipes do give a nice industrial look.
