Such a cute trash can but terrible quality. Fell apart in less than a year. After a few months the inside basket got trapped inside and could no longer be pulled out. Worst purchase ever.

I like this garbage can! It’s the first one I have had that looks nice and the dogs cannot get into! I have always had to get a smaller can for under the sink to keep the dogs from making a mess. This one has allowed me to keep a much larger one out and usable daily without the worry of coming home a mess! The only problem I have is the metal piece on the top of the insert. It can be problematic and get in the way until one figures out where to place it when putting the bag in. Oh, this can comes with a nice solid insert! The can, itself, it just a shell with a cutout on the bottom which allows for any overflow of trash to pass through rather than stay there and begin to smell. The insert is easy to wipe out or simply clean as one would a bucket! I highly recommend this trash can!

Tall enough to keep our dachshund out of it and sleek enough looking to make our bathroom look classy. :-D

Have had too big, too small and too messy. Finally found the perfect size for our kitchen. There are just the two of us and we recycle most of our trash. The Retro can fits inconspicuously in a small hidden (handy) alcove and the soft close lid keeps all contained. I appreciate the ability to leave it open while working in the kitchen OR push open with foot for quick touchless operation. The Happimess trash bags (60 count) I ordered with this are a perfect complement. See my review for these.
