It’s a pretty little trashcan, but it isn’t at all shiny gold. It is much darker, duller, and brassier then it appears in the product photograph.

This was the exact thing I needed for my glam home-office. Don't use in a room that you have to put a plastic bag liner in it, as that would detract from the lovely metal cut sides. Office is perfect, though.
