Nine Stars 18.5 Gallon Stainless Steel Motion Sensor Multi-Compartments Trash & Recycling Bin

I like the convenience of touchless feature, however, after a few months of use the lid did not open or close all the way. I have had this product since Nov 2021, and it is so annoying now that for the last 3 years it went from opening half way to barely opens. Touchlessness now is a myth. I would like to have the original touchless feature back, but I think I will invest in another brand

Bin have been holding up, however the buttons became very brittle soon after purchasing it. Rest of the bin working perfectly.

Smart trash can, doesnt use a lot of battery and is super resistant. It doesnt leave it badly and its very big to support the waste. It makes the kitchen beautiful.

It looks good, but it is broke. I put three brand new batteries in it eager to see it open and then nothing. The website didn’t give me an option to ask for an exchange so I chose for Refund. What a bummer. It would be nice if Wayfair could just exchange or send a new opener that actually works. I like the way it looks but would like it to work. After further inspection of the product I found it had been used. There was food particles and nastiness all around the rim of the trashcan. When you take the lid off, you can hear something loose in the mechanical compartment. Wayfair gave me a used, trashy, defective product . They did give me a refund, but really Don’t send used nasty products to consumers. That is a recipe for disaster and I was a fool who thought I had a good product, but was slapped in the face with reality of a used nasty product that was broken. I have been telling everyone what I experienced with Wayfair and I know a lot of people they were horrified the nastiness that Wayfair sent me is an infection control issue. They used trashy product. Wayfair sent me could cause sickness, health issues. I am very upset with Wayfair. You don’t do things like this And claim that you have exceptional values and integrity for consumers. What it is point blank, it’s a lie. It tells me Wayfair is only concerned about revenue. Cheating and lying to consumers should not be allowed. I was a victim of a Wayfair product Worthless paperweight. It seems Wayfair is not the only company sending used, nasty products to people who have put their faith and trust in Wayfair

Easy to assembly uses 3 D batteries fits well in my space. The ideal size for my kitchen . Tried for the first time purchasing open box item , it didn’t disappoint no scratches no dents just perfect at a great price. Thank you Wayfair.

This is an excellent trash and recycling bin, offering ample space for both waste and recyclable materials. The magnetic trash and recycling signs provide flexibility in organizing the compartments. Furthermore, the bin features a motion sensor and an open/close button, allowing for convenient operation, with the open button keeping the lid open slightly longer than the motion sensor.

Love this bin. Its large enough so you dont have to empty it often and the responsiveness on auto-open is pretty prompt. Also like that you can turn the auto-lid off if you are cleaning an area that requires frequent trips to clean up a mess. Would only recommend you keep it away from a high traffic area if possible - we have ours next to the back door and the lid opens if we walk by too close to it.

Love the ability to separate recycling from trash.

I got this bin and couldn’t be happier. The two compartments make it super convenient to separate recycling from regular waste, and the sensor is especially useful in the kitchen. If youre worried about battery life—don’t be! I use it constantly and haven’t had to change the batteries in over a year.

As described! My only complaint is that trash bags can be hard to get out at times.
