I bought this to use as a hamper in my laundry room. I absolutely love it!

You would think for a kitchen trash can at this price point, it wouldn't scratch so easily. Also, it starts to stink with hardly any trash in it and no food products. I bought this to replace a 15+ year old trash can and I'm super disappointed with it.

Great can. It comes with special order bags, but Kirkland 13 gallon kitchen bags do work, with a little stretching.

Love it! It looks really nice and it's very functional. The large foot pedal is very nice. The lip hides the bag nicely. I would recommend this trash can.

Hi! I already had another Simplehuman for the kitchen. Our Laundry room is large enough to use these. We care for my 94 yr. old father and are constantly using two 30 gallon garbage bags to throw in the sponge bathing towels, wash cloths, bedding, etc. The other we use for his clothes that got soiled. We do two washes for each. Don't want to wash them in urine (he's 94 and his external catheter, at times, comes off). Wouldn't put anything BUT extremely clean items in our dryer! So, instead of bags being hooked over the drawers on one side of the laundry room, these 12 Gallon Trash cans work out PERFECTLY! And there low enough for us to open the drawers, too! My guy thought of this!! However, he was thinking an inexpensive barrel, I wanted the Laundry Room to look great and LOVE Simplehuman produts. Still plenty of room to walk around and open the dryer door. Love my dad, too. We want CLEAN clothes, bedding, etc. for him....and the dryer is obviously used for our cleaning, as well. So, the best solution was found. They're made so well! A regular 30 Gallon trash bag fits wonderfully in it. It's been tough figuring out all the change/challenges in our household (Dad's been with us 2 years 8 months...the best father ever and we're not letting him down! He was working out 7 days/week in a lovely Independent Living Community then, due to dehydration everything changed. Timing worked out, if he had stayed there we might have lost him, as many of his friends were taken from the COVID. He was a Police Officer and God Blessed Him w/songs in heart, he's always singing! Anything to make life easier is so fantastic!) Thank you, Wayfair. We've purchased so many items from your Company and the Customer Service is FABULOUS! (I realize most 'hampers' need 'breathing room'; however, these items get washed daily and we just add a new bag after they're washed! FABULOUS! I LOVE WAYFAIR SO MUCH! Now, if you could figure out how we can not feel sleep deprived, that would be a miracle! (Oh my gosh, I'm 37 minutes late for the deadline...story of our life, lately! Beautiful rose gold color! I bought this for our daughter's dorm room. It's the perfect size that keeps her from having to empty her trash every single day (it doesn't stink) and it doesn't look unsightly. Great purchase. Package arrived in perfect condition.
