In theory this is a great desk, but in practice there’s a ton of shortcomings. Took about an hour to assemble. The first issue is that the monitor shelf is tiny. No 27” monitor stand can safely rest on that shelf because it is too narrow for any stand. The skinniest stand I could find was 7.9” and this shelf is only 7” deep. I tried using a monitor arm and even that won’t work because the gap between the monitor shelf and the desk is too small for any clamp to fit in between and tighten. Furthermore, the fact that the wood is so thin makes putting anything on it an issue as it bends and buckles under even a 10lb weight. The second issue is the drawers. They are extremely flimsy and despite being generous in size, they can’t hold much without buckling and becoming difficult to slide out. The third issue is the LED strip. The strip does not install flush with the wood, instead it has to go through the metal brackets at key support sections. That means the strip just sags through the designated holes and isn’t holding on to anything. As a result, the adhesive doesn’t hold that well so it just falls after about a week. The fourth issue is the CPU stand. Not sure what kind of computer they were using, but a regular ATX sized computer will not fit. It hangs over both the front and back. I guess you get what you pay for, and a little bit of extra thought being put into the dimensions of this product is one of the things not included in the price.

The desk was easy to put together and complimented my office. 100% would purchase again

I ordered the desk that had a brown top and black drawers, took like a month to get it and ITS ALL BLACK!!! I DIDNT WANT A BLACK DESK WAYFAIR, hence why I bought a brown one WAYFAIR!!! I can't send it back and wait for another one due to time restrictions WAYFAIR!!! Hopefully something can be done, let me know WAYFAIR!
