Interval Series Task Chair

I like the chair a lot. It is finally a strong, well built office chair that is comfortable and actually rises to a height that is usable at a high drafting table. Should last many, many years.

Love it. Being a retired tool and die maker and a woodworking enthusiast, I'm now finding the time to update a lot of blueprints for woodworking projects. I used to have a full size drafting table but got rid of it years ago. I now have a portable drafting board that sits on top of a 36 inch tall table. A lot of times when making blueprints, you need to be over the top to see the lines. Not like sitting back and looking at a computer screen or writing letters. This chair is better than what I expected. Very comfortable and plenty of adjustment for height. The foot ring does slip a little but I fixed that by taking a piece of 2 inch inside diameter PVC cut to length to fit between the base and the bottom of the foot ring. I split it down the middle , placed it around the column and wrapped a piece of duct tape around it to hold it in place. Then I lowered the foot ring down on top. It doesn't move now. I can see this chair being used at the band saw, jig saw and drill press. A very high quality chair for the money and it only took me 15 minutes to put it together.
