Blakehurst Accent Chest

DO NOT ORDER The chest is fine I guess...very heavy and sturdy. but the shipping and packaging is so horrible that they had to replace the item twice (total of 3 shipments) and the last one is still damaged. The box is MUCH to heavy for fedex shipping. It should be sent by freight with 2 delivery drivers but the poor frdex guy had to roll the massive thing around I guess so the corners were always messed up. The box does not protect it despite specific corner protectors it just gets slammed around a fedex truck too much. The return process required me to manhandle the heavy thing around back into the box for the poor guy to come back and get. Twice. Just don't bother. For this proce I should have to repair an item myself or I should get a fee for moving it around myself. There was no other delivery option that I saw. This makes me not want to buy furniture from wayfair again.

This item came badly damaged. Attempting to ship it back for a full refund has been problematic. The label said that it was 46lbs and it is 177lbs. FedEx must ship it freight because of the weight and they want a BOL not a tracking number. I had to pay $200 to have it packaged, the original packaging was falling off the contents and could not be reused.

This is a beautiful chest and seemed sturdy. Used this in the narrow entry way. I also replaced the knobs with some ornate ones.

Product arrived with a large crack and is not usable. The drawers don't open and close smoothly either.

Waited 2 months to receive a damaged product. Wayfair passed me off to the manufacturer for resolution. Would not buy anything from Wayfair again.

Sturdy, beautiful and well packaged

This is a beautiful piece with a dark mahogany finish. It came carefully wrapped and protected. All we had to do was put the legs on... so easy. We just love it!

It’s perfect ! I changed the drawer pulls and put on inexpensive but beautiful small glass door knobs that I bought from Wayfair and the piece is stunning. I love it !!!
