Fayette Storage Bookcase

Beautiful. I was able to get it put together fairly easily. The assembly instructions are not very thorough. Luckily, I have put together a lot of furniture and managed to figure it out. I want to order another one, but not sure they are available.

Overall, this was not bad to put together except....the sides were an issue. It was not clear on instructions which end was to face out. The finished side was placed facing front, but it was wrong. Had to switch after assembly done. Poor instruction. Also, the product online said Birch Lane, but it came in a Safaveigh box. A few scratches on veneer, but was able to touch up with stain pen. For the cost, I guess I expected better ...

Looks great. The doors rub against each other. There were some scratches throughout.

We love it. The door sticks slightly but it’s such a nice looking piece we look past that.

Got this to hide books from my cat so she doesn't destroy them when I'm not around. It's been great! I couldn't figure out how to attach the back board to the finished unit, so I just put it up against the wall without the backboard secured. I can't remember if the board didn't line up correctly or if it was a user error, but still works great up against the wall without the backboard. The doors slide easily but the cat can't open them, so it's been perfect!

I need B you need two of them for the bookcase. I only have one. Did you order me another one and is it on its way?

Sturdy, easy to put together! Great quality as well .

We gave it 3 stars even though we like the overall look of the piece and it is just the size we wanted. However, we were extremely disappointed to find 7 places where the finish was damaged. One of them was a real gouge. The rest we covered well enough with a furniture marking pen. We decided to live with the damage as it is too hard to send the item back. Also, we had to drill holes at an angle to attach the back without the screws poking through to the inside of the cabinet. Other than that, it went together well. The doors rolled easily after we adjusted the rollers.
