Cleartex ® Ultimat® Polycarbonate Square Chair Mat for Carpets up to 1/2" - 48" x 48"

I purchased two chair mats for carpets from two different companies with each one arriving damaged due to how they packaged it. I purchased this one from Wayfair. It arrived in great condition with no issues. They did a great job with packaging. This is a sturdy carpet protector. I love the shape of it. It works perfectly with plenty of room to maneuver around.  

I’ve had this mat for about a year now with heavy use. So far no yellowing and no cracking. It stays in place and is a true clear opaque. Good buy.

At first look, the floormat looked like it would be an excellent option. Within a week, that opinion changed. My floormat would constantly shift under my chair. It is obvious that the teeth were not designed appropriately to keep the mat in place. This lead to scuffing up the furniture around the mat. After 1 yr and 6 months, the mat started cracking and breaking up. I attempted to make use of their limited lifetime warranty. They agreed to send me a replacement for my mat if I paid a $30 shipping charge. Let me see. I have a product that did not live up to expectations. With the dissatisfaction that I have with the mat already, I get the pleasure of having to pay more money for a product that I am already not satisfied with. Conclusion: I recommend staying as far away from this product and company as possible.

Works well on new, medium pile home office carpet. Firm and sturdy. I personally need something larger, will use for my child’d Desk/chair.

This mat shipped quickly and arrived with no damage. It shipped flat with cardboard on either side. Mat seems of good quality. I'm able to move my chair ... a little too much lol. Unable to comment on durability as just received and started using.

Mat broke, they sent a replacement and it broke again. Not worth.

Very happy —it’s not glass but good quality plastic —doesn’t slip on carpet —and clear enough under desk you can hardly know it’s there

Arrived quickly. Long before my chair did. It’s seems to be great build quality and sturdy. I can’t speak to it’s durability but it sure seems like I will get my money out of it in the least. I think it’s worth buying.

I have this in my living room over my plush carpet with an antique wooden rocker like my grandma had sitting on it so that you can rock in it. Product is firm and steady and does the job perfectly.
