Overall the bench is fine but this photo is very misleading. It does not clearly show that there is a weird silver metallic thread woven prominently through the fabric on top of the bench. Given the style, it seems very out of place, and since it’s not really visible in the photo, it never occurred to me that it would be a large metallic thread. I would not have bought it if I had seen it in the picture.

Better than expected; the woven top is so cute and the color of the wood is a rich medium brown which matches well with my cherry furniture. Solid weight as well so it won’t tip over easily . Only reason not 5 stars is the fabric is just slightly messy on the bottom, but not really visible.
