Krischan 59" Wide Farmhouse Hall Tree, Open Storage And Shoe Storage

This is a solid product. If you are someone with a narrow hallway that needs shoe and jacket storage, this is your product. This is NOT A BENCH. The photo shows a pillow as if you are going to hop up on the doctor's counter at the pediatrician. This piece is a Console Table, with shoe storage for a family of 4 (maybe 5 if you have little kids), with lots of hooks to hang your shorter coats and jackets, place school bags on top, and hang lighter purses and long coats on the sides. The hooks are aluminum, so while they are fine for now, I can bend them with my hand and we can look at replacing them someday. OVERALL, for the price, this is a really good purchase. Someday, we can have super nice things that are in the $1000s and custom. For now, we don't want to commit to a built-in. At the price of around $400, this is going to get us through the fun childhood years. It is pretty, it allows a nice walk way in our busy NYC apartment hallway, and now friends can toss their coats near the door and not feel like there's no place to unpack winter clothes to enjoy themselves in our home. Also, the finish feels scratch resistant or that it will hide scuffs well. We like it. Please note, this is not solid wood. The backing in the uppers is thin particle board, but they backed the hook portions with stronger wood. YOU NEED 2 PEOPLE TO PUT THIS TOGETHER and around 3-4 hours. For the right price, hirer a pro because at one point you have to lift the upper portion from both sides and place it exactly so on the wooden pegs to connect upper to lower pieces. Enjoy!

I love the look of this item. Fits perfect and looks great where I planned to put it. The hooks (and screws) were a bit weak for my taste, so I swapped out the hooks that came with the unit for heavier hooks and used bolts to ensure they would not pull out of the wood. The shoe storage does not quite hold a size 13 as advertised. I love the look and functionality of the 2 barn doors that hide some of the boots and shoes. The two adjustable shelf sections on the outside of the shoe storage is definitely a plus.

Much higher for the “bench” part than I thought. Overall like, but did need to use my own screws to screw through into the wall for the hangers.

Overall, I like this item. It serves the purpose it fits perfectly in my hallway and it will store extra shoes and some additional items (hatsscarfs) that I didn’t have space for. I’m giving it 3 stars, because although It’s relatively sturdy, the cardboard like pieces in the back feel too thin. The hooks will not hold up heavier items. The paint started peeling off where two pieces meet already and I have a feeling that I will be touching it up with paint regularly.

This is a great hall tree. Perfect in the space, love the design and look. It does look great in your entrance hall. Materials are great and assembly was easy. Also having the wall anchors is a great idea.
