Khaliyl 63''W 9 - Drawer Dresser

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this dresser, in good faith. We received the dresser initially on the 18th and ordered the professional assembly for the following day. During the assembly, it came to our attention that one of the main parts of the dresser for the railing was drilled incorrectly, so the assembly was cut short. Wayfair support and the vendor worked very quickly to reach a resolution and shipped us a dresser and rescheduled the assembly. They instructed us to just trash the old dresser. Something told me not to do that just yet, and Im glad that I didnt, because the new dresser arrived with some parts broken and missing, but we were able to substitute them with pieces from the previous dresser. However, various parts of the new piece showed wear and tear, despite being brand new and upgraded. This dresser was just assembled, but it looks like something we have owned for months. We were able to swap out some of the drawers with other pieces from the previous dresser that look a little better, but to the trained eye, its very evident that the drawers are uneven. We are in need of a dresser, and the headache of getting another one just isnt worth it, at this point. Despite a goodfast response from support, we are quite disappointed with this experience.

Instructions for assembly are great but it takes a LONG time to assemble. Putting all 9 drawers on the tracks is extremely time consuming and you will need a second person. The places for the screws are marked but aren’t predrilled so you must line everything up and then screw in the screw. I couldn’t predrill them either because to line everything up they might need to be a little to the right or left. Also the drawers don’t line up 100% even. The black color is a coating over the wood so if it starts chipping I could see it becoming a problem. The dresser is a nice size and heavy. The drawers pull all the way out and can hold a good amount of clothing. For the price, it is a good dresser.

The rails came broken. I reached out to the vendor and they asked many questions, but would not send the rails. I called the number for the vendor, but it was out of service. I reached out to Wayfair and still could not jump through enough hoops to get replacement rails. DO NOT get this product.

You must read the directions super carefully. If you miss anything, it will be detrimental. I was alone and it took me six hours to assemble. It was worth it because it’s my favorite piece but I did make errors from rushing the process. It’s worth it just read the instructions carefully. A few months later, you’re gonna have to keep screwing it back together. Not a fan because it’s only been 3 months.

I think this dresser is such a great purchase! Only con was putting it together, took 2 days for my friend to do it. Lastly, the bottom right drawer doesn’t close all the way so not sure if that was an assembly error or not but either way, very satisfied with the look and drawer space!

Splendid piece! Definitely takes time to assemble and theres some tricks to not exactly following the steps provided. But overall, highly recommend!
