The seats have springs with minimal padding. The fabric covering the underside was slightly torn upon arrival. The adjustable backs feel weak and you have to be sure you’ve locked both sides in place when leaning back. The armrests are not the same distance/angle to the couch (one side has a gap, the other has no gap at all). It’s not terrible but I had much higher hopes for this futon. Definitely not happy with the tear.
