Norberg Writing Desk

This desk is countertop height. I did not read the measurements as I assumed it was a standard desk height. I took 5 inches off each leg with a saw and it looks great. A little more work than I wanted to do but this is a solid well constructed desk. The top is preassembled you just have to assemble the legs. Very easy. Would highly recommend if you’re willing to do some carpentry.

Slightly taller than I was expecting. Amazing quality. Finished back and the drawers glide effortlessly.

Desk is beautiful, color is darker than the photos and one of the drawers sticks closed making it difficult to open sometimes but I am very happy with the counter height and it looks beautiful in the window when I put it.

Arrived damaged in multiple places. Legs are shakey. Solid wood but still feels like particle board. Color is much darker than depicted in the photo. I highly suggest not purchasing to anyone considering it. Overall a piece of junk that I would expect Wayfair to carry.

Great looking desk! Assembly was super easy and it is tall enough for me to stand and use it as a work at home desk (I'm 5'6") The desk chair I ordered was too short so I ordered a bar stool and it is even better.

Desk is very tall. It almost looks to be a desk you stand at. Wayfair's customer service was great.

Overall it looks nice. I was disappointed that the leg was chipped which makes it a little wobbly. The bar that goes between the desk legs at the bottom does not screw into the legs with the screws the desk came with.

The picture and description do not indicate this is a counter height desk. It is 36" tall not 30" which is typical. If you look at the dimension picture it does show it as 36" high, but I have never seen a desk offered this way so was only focused on the depth x width. Unlike a table that might be offered (when STATED) as counter height, desk are generally 30" high. So this was big, and unfortunate surprise as it was only discovered after the desk was assembled. Now this has become a project of repacking and shipping and reordering and reassembling. HEY WAYFAIR How bout you write COUNTER HEIGHT in the title or description. Its even show with a little stool at it, not a size stool that would indiate its high. NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!
