I tried to install it on a wall that has a textured effect and when I tried to nail it in, it caused part of the effect to chip off so I decided not to complete the installation. I think it would work great for someone who wanted to hang a soundbar a non-textured drywall surface.

These mounts feel high quality, are cost-effective, and they look great!

My soundbar is super light so I opted to use only 2 of the 6 nails per side and it honestly feels so secure! I love that it comes with adhesive pads so my soundbar stays put (and doesn't scratch lol) this was perfect to mount right under my wall mounted tv!
