Not quite what I expected. Chair is small and seem more suitable for kids. It doesn't rest securely on the tabletop as the manufacture shows in their specifications.

These chairs are very sturdy and a piece of art. I love to look at this chair. The construction quality is unreal and the comfort is very good. They have built in ventilation in the seat. Great product!

VS out of Germany made the original stool like this, but cost far more and has limited distribution. NPS makes this great alternative and have been using them in schools for 2 years now with no complaint. Had 1 of 128 show up damaged by freight, but they replaced it. Overall great value.
