Came prepackaged w/ two parts tightly packaged and hard to remove without breaking the Styrofoam (which I did not want to do, if item needed to be returned). Although Durections were followed,Globe was put together incorrectly! However, once put together properly, all was Good! A Quality Piece for the Dining Room! I may have preferred the Cart Style better but the Taller Height for the Pedestal Style is what I like the Best about this Globe Bar!

My husband loved this gift because it reminds him of his grandpas house, who used to own one of these.

I purchased this glob bar for my office, and it looks quite nice. I have a few small complaints that I would like to share. First, the silver nut that holds the base together is visible once fully assembled between the globe itself and the base. I'm relatively certain that I assembled everything correctly, but this looks unfinished and a bit out of place. Second, although the bar looks quite good, it has a flimsiness to it when you open the top. Compared to some of the antique globe bars I have encountered, this is on the cheap side, but the price wasn't bad, and it really does look nice in my office. Overall I would likely make the purchase again based on my budget, but if you can afford to splurge, this might not be the bar for you.

Husband loves it! He's always wanted one, so for our 19th Anniversary, I bought him this as a gift. He hasn't stopped gawking over it since it arrived! Looks very classy.

This is beautiful. This is higher than most, and it is ergonomically the right height for an average height man to comfortably use. The arm that controls the lid of the globe has a bit of wobble in the hinge that cannot be tightened away; however, that is a minor issue. Everyone loves it when they enter the room.
