Elyse Daybed with Trundle

We are very pleased with the Elyse Twin Daybed and Trundle. It arrived earlier than expected and was a snap to assemble. It took longer to unpack it than to actually put it together! :) This is exactly what we need for our space.

Rattan look compliments the boho vibe of the bedroom. Purchased 3 years ago and the rattan has held up without fraying beyond normal wear and tear.

Terrific looking day bed! Very nice quality, rattan is beautiful, sturdy and lovely color. I placed the bed in my home office at coast to have extra sleeping when family visited. The pull out trundle bed slides easily in and out. It arrived packed well and in flat boxes. Assembly is required, my husband put it together himself in a few hours time with no problems, commented on how well written plans were to follow for assembly. Cation, he’s above average with assembly, build or repairs so his experience may not be a good comparison for ease of assembly. We are extremely pleased with the daybed and highly recommend. For mattresses I purchased 2 top quality Kingsdown twin mattresses because I wanted the height on top bed and comfort on trundle. I followed mattress depth recommendations which were listed on the Wayfair site. No box springs are needed as bed sits on built in wooden slats. Very pleased with this purchase.

It is a beautiful and solid piece. I love it, except that the painting on the trundle was a bit shoddy. There is a whole strip along the bottom where the caning and the trim did not get sprayed. After putting it together I did not want to deal with returning or exchanging it. I was able to easily put both pieces together by myself. The trundle is trickier for one person to align correctly but doable. Otherwise it is beautiful and I’ve gotten many compliments on it already. If you live in an apartment especially on a higher floor I highly recommend you get the delivery to inside your apartment. It is very heavy. I knocked one star off for the poor paint quality and what I see as a design flaw in not covering the bolts. I would give 4.5 stars. if
