Oneybrook Murphy Bed

We were happy with this purchase. We have it installed in our vacation property. Unfortunately, when we returned the last month, the shocks that help us put it up and down have already failed.

I loved this bed for my office. I didn’t realize that it wants you to screw the frame i to the floor. We didn’t do that. We screwed into the baseboard and it works just fine.

Good quality, works great. Shipping was fast.

Very study material but the wall frame is a separate piece from the metal bed frame. The assembly for this requires anchors into both the wall and the floor, not ideal for a condo or rental.

Liking our Murphy bed, but dissatisfied with the packaging delivery handling. A couple pieces arrived with dents and they are visible. I’m not sure why packages are not handled with care. This was not a cheap piece of furniture. This is why I’m giving it three stars!

Came with all the tools but the assembly instructions could have been better.

Happy with the look for the price. It doesn’t look cheap, but I can also see how the more expensive Murphy beds do look more custom-made than this one. All in all very happy with the end result for the price. I’m really glad that I read the reviews prior to purchasing it that showed some tips about putting it together. Many of the screws come all mixed together in a large bag. Taking the time to separate them and label them in cups was very helpful once we were in the swing of things putting the bed together. My husband assembled it basically himself except for me, helping him hold things occasionally. You will need two people for some of the steps. My husband is very handy and it took him an entire Saturday to complete it. some of the pictures are confusing and strangely drawn, there was one step where he had to go back multiple steps later and change it.

We ordered with shelves like in a photo, but we got without shelves. The Mechanism is so difficult you have to attach to the floor and wall. So heavy. We have a floor plinth,so We cut low corners of both sides .

Was a little tricky to put together and could benefit from two people working together. The instructions were great to follow
